The Android platform is currently available on the T-Mobile G1, which was the start of it, while Vodafone has picked up the newest HTC Magic name. Upcoming gPhones are bringing the Android platform on board, and an abundance of carriers are supporting the endeavor.

Although the HTC Magic Vodafone first began making the Google Android platform available in their phones starting in the UK, and will move on to areas of Europe, it is uncertain which phone manufacturer and mobile service carrier will be the first to take up this stage of the Google Android revolution. Whichever and whomever it is, they will be a step ahead of the competition when offering the innovative technology provided through the Google Android platform.

The battle between the iPhone and the gPhone is bound to continue for years, but Apple may have a lot to worry about when it comes to Google and their advancing technologies within the Android platform. An ever increasing number of service providers want the phones that are backed by the Google Android Platform. If it is true that Google is offering what the people want, then the smartest service providers will get on board with Google Android.
