Google has been making big news with its Android platform competing with the Apple iPhone. Agora is one of the newest phones from Google that is sporting the Android platform. It offers the same features as the G1 and is similar to the Black Jack from Samsung.

It has been said ever since Google came out with the G1 phone that it could only get better, and it proving to be quite true. It was only three months after the release of Google’s Android platform in the T-Mobile G1 phone that Kogan announced that it would be releasing the Agora and Agora Pro, also sporting the Android platform.

Kogan’s Agora is only the second android phone to be released in the world. Kogan plan’s its Agora and Agora Pro android phones to first release in Australia.

The basic Agora android phone offers a backlit QWERTY keyboard, touch screen of 2.5 inches, 3G connectivity, 2.0 Bluetooth capability, and a microSD card slot. The advanced version of the Kogan Agora is the Agora Pro. In addition to the Agora features, the Agora Pro features GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 2 megapixel camera.

Kogan’s Agora line is currently on postponement for release, due to the lack of resolution needed to support the Android platform. Once the resolution issues are rectified and the Kogan Agora and Agora Pro are released in Australia, it is certain that the rave reviews will quickly reach the United States.
