Agora Google Android Phone

Google has been making big news with its Android platform competing with the Apple iPhone. Agora is one of the newest phones from Google that is sporting the Android platform. It offers the same features as the G1 and is similar to the Black Jack from Samsung.

It has been said ever since Google came out with the G1 phone that it could only get better, and it proving to be quite true. It was only three months after the release of Google’s Android platform in the T-Mobile G1 phone that Kogan announced that it would be releasing the Agora and Agora Pro, also sporting the Android platform.

Kogan’s Agora is only the second android phone to be released in the world. Kogan plan’s its Agora and Agora Pro android phones to first release in Australia.

The basic Agora android phone offers a backlit QWERTY keyboard, touch screen of 2.5 inches, 3G connectivity, 2.0 Bluetooth capability, and a microSD card slot. The advanced version of the Kogan Agora is the Agora Pro. In addition to the Agora features, the Agora Pro features GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 2 megapixel camera.

Kogan’s Agora line is currently on postponement for release, due to the lack of resolution needed to support the Android platform. Once the resolution issues are rectified and the Kogan Agora and Agora Pro are released in Australia, it is certain that the rave reviews will quickly reach the United States.

Google’s Android Platform within the HTC Magic

The battle rages on between the technologies of the Apple iPhone and Google’s Android platform. Google’s first android competitor to the Apple iPhone was the T-Mobile G1, which was released last year. The newest Android platform phone encompassed in the HTC Magic is HTC in partnership with Vodafone. With the hype coming from the release of this newest of Google Android platform applications, it should not be long before it is offered worldwide and posing even stiffer competition for the Apple iPhone.

Both the Apple iPhone and the Google HTC Magic are basically hand-held computers, and both can take applications from third party providers and download them. In focusing on the HTC Magic, it offers up the Google characteristics of email, maps, search, and YouTube, as well as a web-kit browser that is optimized by Android. All of this is offered under the Google umbrella. This advanced Google Android platform technology is opening doors to some major advancement for the development of other, more advanced applications.

Although many see Google’s endeavors into the smart phone market as a means for Google to further expand into totally dominating the industry, Google sees it as offering the public what they want. What Google feels the public wants is a simple means for quick access to the web through a device that individuals already always carry with them, which is the phone.

Other features of the handset of the HTC Magic that carries the Android platform include the handsets being dressed for success with a 3.2 inch touch screen display, buttons for navigating, and a trackball. The applications available with the Android platform are setting Google apart in the smart phone and PDA markets.

Those individuals that are social butterflies will the Android platform of the HTC Magic phone, due to the fact that Google constantly is running in the background for quick and easy access to others and quick relaying of information if desired. The Android platform is currently available on the T-Mobile G1, which was the start of it, while Vodafone has picked up the newest HTC Magic name. Upcoming gPhones are bringing the Android platform on board, and an abundance of carriers are supporting the endeavor.

Although the HTC Magic Vodafone first began making the Google Android platform available in their phones starting in the UK, and will move on to areas of Europe, it is uncertain which phone manufacturer and mobile service carrier will be the first to take up this stage of the Google Android revolution. Whichever and whomever it is, they will be a step ahead of the competition when offering the innovative technology provided through the Google Android platform.

The battle between the iPhone and the gPhone is bound to continue for years, but Apple may have a lot to worry about when it comes to Google and their advancing technologies within the Android platform. An ever increasing number of service providers want the phones that are backed by the Google Android Platform. If it is true that Google is offering what the people want, then the smartest service providers will get on board with Google Android.

Google Android Reviewed

Boasted as being the biggest competition for the Apple iPhone, Google’s G1 through T-Mobile made big news in the mobile phone market with its release in October of 2008. The excitement of the Google Android system within the T-Mobile G1 was all due to what Google was bringing to the world of the mobile phone. With Google’s web browser and search expertise, they brought a new direction to the internet and mobile phones simultaneously with their ultimate hand-held mobile computer in the form of the initial T-Mobile G1 gPhone.

There has been little disappointment following the hype of the release of the Google Android. The main complaint was the download speed, which is certainly that can be worked on a rectified in the near future. In reference to the first phone offering the Android platform, neither Google, nor the users of the G1 have many complaints overall.

Since the release of the G1, it has not taken long for word of the Google Android platform to get out. Just months after the release of the gPhone, other mobile phone service and product carriers began researching how they could get on board with this newest, hot technology from Google.

With all that it offers, it is not wonder that companies across the globe are chomping at the bit to get on board with use of Google Android. Google has already begun adding applications to the Android platform in addition to the original applications that include much of what you can find on your home desktop computer in the line of Google search, email, maps and more.

Not only are the popular name features of search, maps and email availability appealing to the consumer, but the ease of navigation of the system is a draw as well. Users of the Google Android can utilize a QWERTY keyboard, touch screen, and track ball to navigate through the wealth of options offered within the Android platform.

Companies in China, Australia and the United Kingdom are talking of release of or soon to be released phones opting for the applications of the Google Android platform. For example, the Sciphone Dream G2 Android is a phone being released in China. However, many manufactures are finding that the technology of the Google Android platform needs to be run on very high quality hardware. Some phone carriers have had to delay the release of their Google phone versions due to their lack of being able to appropriately offer up the full concept of an Android.

In any event, it is reported that by 2012 the Google Android will be far more popular and out sell the Apple iPhone. Google has provided much with their Android platform as well and continue to constantly improve upon it. With Google’s expertise along the lines of internet technology, the Android platform is sure to continue to be a hot item for phone manufacturers, mobile service carriers and consumers. With this in mind, anyone who will want to even begin to compete within the smart phone arena really has their work cut out for them.
